Operation Steps:

  1. Turn on the power switch.

  2. If the door is not open, press [OPEN DOOR] to open it.

  3. Check that the rotor is properly installed.

  4. Place samples symmetrically and horizontally in the rotor.

  5. Close the door (ensure you hear a “click”).

  6. Enter the operation parameters:

    • [ROTOR]: Enter the rotor number; all rotor numbers are pre-programmed. When pressed, the number will blink—use the up/down keys to adjust, then press ENTER.

    • [RPM]: Set the speed in revolutions per minute; when pressed, the number will blink—adjust with up/down keys, then press ENTER.

    • [RCF]: Set the centrifugal force in g; when pressed, the number will blink—adjust with up/down keys, then press ENTER.

    • [TIME]: Set the duration; when pressed, the number will blink—adjust with up/down keys, then press ENTER.

    • [TEMP]: Set the temperature; when pressed, the number will blink—adjust with up/down keys, then press ENTER.

    • [ACCEL]: Acceleration setting; 0–9 levels available, higher number = faster acceleration.

    • [DECEL]: Deceleration setting; 0–9 levels available, higher number = faster deceleration.

    • [ENTER]: Confirm key; press this after setting any parameter.

  7. Press [START] to begin operation. The centrifuge will automatically stop when the time reaches zero.

  8. To stop midway, press [STOP] or [FAST STOP].

  9. After operation stops, press [OPEN DOOR] to retrieve the samples.

  2. Keep the rotor clean.

  3. Regularly clean and lubricate the door latch and shaft (use Spinkote).

Precautions:

  1. Do not open the lid or move the machine during operation.

  2. PULSE: Short-run operation; hold this button to accelerate to the set speed, release to stop as quickly as possible.

  3. Pre-cool the machine when operating at low temperatures.

  4. Do not centrifuge hazardous materials (toxic, radioactive, pathogenic, etc.) without proper safety handling to avoid contamination or accidents due to tube breakage.
